The good news is that, in recent years, some great boats
have become available – boats that appeal to the eye, the philosophy, and
the objectives of sailing families thinking about change. The bad news is
that the number of builders, designers, hull types and sizes, power
options, electronics, options, and trade-offs can be bewildering. While
touring the boat show is always fun, it is not a reliable way to find just
the right boat for you and your family.
