We are consultants who will help you define what you want to do, where you want to go, and what kind of boat will serve you best. Do you want to be weekenders or month-long cruisers? Will you cruise alone or need space for guests? We discuss hull forms: displacement, semi-displacement, or planing... your power needs: one engine or two...your design options: flybridge, hardtop, express...and more. We will identify alternatives and establish preferences for interior finishes, galley, cabin and head layout, electronics, anchor systems, and important but often overlooked details such as the width of side decks and the location of handrails. As independent consultants we're free to help you spec a boat that's truly right for you.

And, when we have built a complete design specification for your future boat, we even help you find it! It may be a new boat from a quality manufacturer, a used boat in need of some refit, or a boat custom built to your specs by one of New England’s great boatbuilders.
